About Us

Top Of The Viaduct Restaurant was established in 1977 by Larry and Patricia Boylan. It was named "Top of the Viaduct" because it is located by the Lincoln Way Viaduct.

Upon Larry's Retirement in 1994, he sold the restaurant to his daughter, Beth Brown, who is the current owner with her husband Randy. They have 2 children Brandon and Randi. They also have a grandson Beckham.

The restaurant prides itself on cleanliness and excellent value for your dollar. They will gladly share their health board inspections with you at any time. They have a full-time cleaning crew every night.

In July 2001, Patricia Boylan passed away at 56 with complications due to a bone marrow transplant. Shortly after her passing, Larry Boylan "Loonie Larry" passed away in November of 2003 due to a heart attack. He was 74. The often asked question of "Who is Loonie Larry?" - that is who it is. He got his name from his daughter Beth because she thought he was crazy for selling eggs, home fries, and bacon for such a low price. It is still their #1 breakfast special.
